Dental Solutions
Roberts Family Dental our purpose is to provide quality dental care in a nurturing environment built on trust and individual concerns.
We are a preventive oriented dental practice and our approach to dentistry emphasizes a fun and gentle manner creating a pleasant atmosphere that makes each visit as relaxed and fun as possible. We emphasize the importance of routine dental check-ups every 3-6 months depending on your overall periodontal health.
Routine dental exams uncover problems that can be treated in the early stages, when damage is minimal and restorations may be small. When necessary, X-rays are taken as a precautionary measure for early detection of problems undetected by the naked eye.
We provide Esthetic Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, Digital Radiology, Bridges, Dentures, Oral Surgery, Root Canal Therapy, Periodontal Treatment and so much more.
The goal of esthetic dentistry is to transform an average smile into a terrific smile. To accomplish this goal, we analyze every aspect of a smile and then correct the problem. So even if you weren't born with a beautiful smile, you can still have one. Please review below our service.

All-Porcelain Crowns
A tooth-colored crown may be made of both porcelain and metal, or, thanks to newly available technology, it may be made entirely of porcelain.
Metal and porcelain crowns. In the past, porcelain crowns were always built upon a metal core. That was the only way they could have enough strength to withstand the tremendous biting forces that are exerted on all of your teeth. That metal core is what creates the dark blue line at the edge of many crowns.
The benefits of all-porcelain crowns. Recent breakthroughs in adhesives, combined with the development of stronger porcelain materials, allow us to make crowns entirely out of porcelain. All-porcelain crowns maintain a translucency that makes them hard to tell from natural teeth. Without metal, the problem of a dark line at the edge of the gums is eliminated. This allows us to place the edge of the crown above the gumline, and that's healthier for your tooth and gums. When you want to improve your smile, all-porcelain crowns are a beautiful and natural looking choice.
DIAGNOdent
DIAGNOdent is an advanced laser technology that helps us find tooth decay. We use it along with visual examination, dental explorers, and x-rays.
Visual examination and dental explorers are often useful for finding decay on the surfaces of teeth. We may also use x-rays to help us find advanced decay and decay between teeth. We add DIAGNOdent to help us locate decay that's hidden inside the tooth where visual examination, explorers, and x-rays can't find it.
How does DIAGNOdent work? The tip of the DIAGNOdent handpiece scans your teeth with harmless pulses of laser light. When the laser reaches decay under the surface of the tooth, the decay emits a fluorescent light. This fluorescent light bounces back to the sensor, and is translated into an audible signal and a digital readout. In general, the higher the number, the greater the amount of decay in the tooth.
With DIAGNOdent, we can more accurately and reliably find decay in its earliest stages, before it causes more widespread damage. This early detection enables us to provide treatment before your tooth is at risk of more extensive and expensive treatment. Your restorations will be smaller and less costly, and you'll be able to retain more of your own natural, healthy tooth.

The goal of our Soft Tissue management treatment program is to resolve the signs of inflammation, reduce pocket depths and detectable plaque to a level associated with periodontal health. Ideally we can halt the progression of the periodontal disease.
Teeth Whitening

Power whitening makes it possible to achieve a whiter, brighter smile right here in our office.
How power whitening works A special light is shined onto the teeth after they have been coated with a whitening gel. The light works with the gel to release oxygen. The oxygen penetrates the outer enamel layer and then the dentin layer of the teeth, bleaching away stains and discolored areas.
Power whitening quickly brightens your smile Once we have determined that power whitening is right for you, we may begin by thoroughly removing any plaque and tartar from your teeth. Then we'll start the whitening process with protective glasses, a lip retractor, and a cream or lotion to shield your eyes, lips, and face.
We'll then isolate the teeth and protect your gums by applying a special protective material to the gum tissue or by placing a rubber dam.
Next, we paint the whitening gel onto your teeth, and while you relax in the chair, we shine a light or laser onto the teeth. We may repeat this cycle several times.
Since every case is different, we carefully evaluate your individual results. Your new smile will lighten, on average, about 6 to 10 shades. We may sometimes recommend a fluoride treatment, additional bleaching at home, or another session here in our office. We'll also give you instructions for taking care of your new smile and for handling any post-whitening sensitivity.
Power whitening is a safe and effective technology that can help give you a beautiful new smile, all in one appointment.

Root Canal Therapy (RCT)
Root Canal Therapy is the best alternative to extracting a tooth when the pulp (or nerve) is damaged (usually due to decay). In this process, the pulp is removed and replaced with a plastic type material. This process usually prevents the tooth from developing an infection and permits retention of the tooth.
Implants
A dental implant is a man made replacement for the root of a tooth. Involves a minor surgical procedure to place in the jawbone. After three to six months to facilitate bone integration, a replacement tooth can be anchored to the implant. Dental implants are the gold standard for teeth replacement.
